A well respected Non-Public School in the Sacramento/Placer County area has positions open for dedicated team players whose interest is in seeing children develop a love of learning through structured instruction and behavioral guidance.
Interest in progressing toward the teaching profession is preferred, however, not mandated, as we look to develop future teachers from our present staff.
Position includes some shared responsibility in the classroom, assisting students with academic material and appropriate social interaction.
AT LEAST ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS IN A CLASSROOM SETTING IS PREFERRED.
Knowledge about working with students with Autism is preferred and clear documentation of work with behavior modification system will be requested and reviewed.
Knowledge of Applied Behavioral Methodology (ABA) is highly desired.
A clean driving record is a must, as transporting students to and from school or on outings could be part of the job.
Bachelor's Degree preferred however HS Diploma is acceptable.
