Summary:
The Customer Service Representative position is a position that is critical to the successful operation of the hospital.
Whether working as a greeter, cashier, or on the phones each position in this hospital are interchangeable and we are looking for someone confident in filling all the different roles that a CSR must take on.
This position requires extraordinary customer service skills, the ability to multi task, perform cash operations, handle stressful and or emotionally charged situations, and embrace and promote our hospital philosophies.
In addition, this position must also have the ability to verbally and physically support all other departments of the clinic.
Key
Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service.
Able to lift pets up to 50lbs Work as part of a team to put our clients and patients first.
Knowledge of Veterinary Terminology.
Posses tact and diplomacy when dealing with the public, animals, and other team members.
Greet each client by proper name and salutations.
Verify accuracy of all client/patient information.
Create appointments, explain procedures, and give accurate fees for routine services.
Enter and present accurate invoices and estimates.
Check out each client with the ability to process all types of payments.
Provide clients and other hospitals with appropriate approved medical records.
Promote and educate clients on preventative care, wellness programs, monthly specials, new programs, pet portals, etc.
Ability to learn and use proficiently all hospital software.
Take pride and maintain cleanliness of reception area.
Work with fecal matter, urine, blood, and cleaning chemicals.
Always ensure the safety of clients, patients, and team members.
